"Remember the Bees" Floral Wall Hanging

The "Remember the Bees" wall hanging highlights a theorized and futuristic post-bee/manmade era where the reality of flowers in art is highly plasticized, accompanied by dry stems and the ever-durable strawflower. This futuristic art piece, in epoxy resin, is a reminder of our current threat to our ever-fragile environment.

"Remember the Bees" is one of Elizabeth Byrd's outreach pieces. 75% of the profits will go to the Maryland Bee Foundation.

*Note that the flowers have been dried and treated for preservation, but are exposed elements in this piece. Therefore, preservation efforts do not guarantee total protection and permanence without proper care and treatment of the artwork.

Specifics:

• Handmade with flowers cared for and harvested by the artist
• Crystal-clear resin finish

Care Information:

• Dust with a microfiber cloth around flowers; use compressed air to dust flowers
